C++ Developers (Junior and senior)
Based in Sydney
The role involves exciting and leading-edge programming to meet the increasing client and regulatory demands for calculating and managing enterprise-wide risk in real-time. You will be working on product additions and extensions, enhancing the performance of real-time risk capabilities through enhanced batch management and improvements to the load balancing algorithm and data structures, as well as scenario analysis, stress testing, sensitivity analysis and risk model analytics.
Responsibilities:
- participate in the architectural design, development and deployment of Razor
- estimate, design, code and test enhancements to Razor
- provide documentation of changes for clients.
Global Risk Implementation Consultant
Based in Sydney, London or New York with extensive travel in Europe, Americas and Asia Pacific
Risk Implementation Consultants deliver risk management technical solutions and services to Razor's clients using the Razor system. The role entails a large degree of interaction with the client's technical, business, and implementation teams. You will have the opportunity to travel to client sites, both locally and overseas. You will be working with leading risk management software and interacting with major investment banks, central counterparties and hedge funds.
Risk Management Consultant
Based in London
As one of our risk management professionals, you will work with leading organisations both locally and internationally to develop an integrated, holistic approach to risk and control, helping them to benefit from their investments in internal controls. You will have the opportunity to travel to client sites, both locally and overseas.
The Consultant should be able to support and conduct pre-sales presentations and workshops for prospects and clients. (To be convincing presenters, Consultants must become highly familiar with the Razor solution, the business it supports and the technology involved). Support the product, technical and implementation specific aspects of the bid strategy as well as assisting with responses to RFIs, preparation of proposals and presenting solutions to clients.
This role will entail a large degree of client contact, and will involve working closely with the client project team in areas such as setup of market data (including zero curves, probability curves, correlation matrices, dividend curves, etc.) and the underlying financial instruments that drive the generation of those curves. This will often include the setup of pricing parameters and trade capture options that drive the valuation of trades based on the market data, and the configuration of rules-based scenarios for capturing market and credit risk.
Hands-on knowledge about industry-standard methodologies and tools is important to this role (e.g. bootstrapping algorithms, trade capture systems, Black-Scholes model, Monte Carlo simulation, VAR, PFE, CVA, IRC etc.). Strong technical skills are a plus, and although no programming knowledge is required, the candidate must be technically self-sufficient.
Additionally, this role involves extensive “hands-on” work with the Razor application to configure it, test it, train users in the practical execution of business functions, and ensure that it is meeting the clients’ expectations.
Quality Assurance
Based in Sydney
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the position involves working within the Quality Assurance team to meet and maintain consistently high quality standards for Razor and to ensure the product meets clients’ business needs.
Responsibilities:
- analyse, plan, creation and execute test designs, cases and procedures for Razor
- liaise with business users, business analysts and developers to ensure that planned testing meets their requirements
- track progress of allocated test designs and test cases to ensure testing deadlines will be met.
Quantitative Analyst
Based in Sydney
This role is responsible for the quantitative aspects of our risk management business with a focus on credit and market risk.
Responsibilities:
- quantitative modelling and analysis for existing and new functional methodologies
- new pricing/revaluation to support new products/asset classes
- prototyping of solutions from the development of the models
- research
- working on client sites, both locally and internationally
- documentation of the specification of the models
- presentation of your data and findings.
Sales Executive
Based in London or New York
In response to the current financial turmoil, financial institutions are strengthening their risk management infrastructure. This is creating a strong demand for sophisticated risk management technology across the growth markets of Europe and North America.
This role identifies, targets and closes sales opportunities in conjunction with the region's Unit President. Accountable for the ongoing growth of your region's sales order book, you will, in conjunction with senior colleagues, progress and close sales opportunities. To be successful in this profession, you will have a track record of selling business value to C level executives as well as exercising high quality judgment in the allocation of time and effort in the development of a prospective client relationship.
Successful candidates will be based either in US (New York) or UK (London) and have the relevant working visa.
